OLD SAINT ANTHONY'S CATHOLIC CHURCHSOUTH VIOLET ROAD/STATE HIGHWAY 44 In 1909, Reverend J. Goebels organized a church for German Catholic farm families. In 1910, the building was constructed and served as a schoolhouse as well as a church. The modest frame structure was extensively remodeled in 1919 and relocated to another site in 1952.
